I have gleaned from my personal experience and my 30 plus years of helping patients with their weight the following conclusions:
Everything about obtaining and maintaining a good weight is specific to the individual taking into account the elements above.
Nothing about obtaining and maintaining a good weight is easy or fixed with medication or a
supplement.

It is possible to obtain and maintain a good weight but it requires some sacrifice and a great deal of consistency.
Big changes in your lifestyle, if done too quickly, lead to failure. Slow gradual changes are much easier to do with far less pain. Think Tortoise versus Hare and in my experience in this application the Tortoise ALWAYS WINS.

My personal approach has led to a 40 lb weight loss over a 9 month period in 2021. I have now maintained a good weight for me for over 2 years.
