David Jayne MD at Medical Spa in Edmond OK has been in the current location for over 8 years. Our clinic runs very efficiently with patients able to get appointments very quickly after calling or submitting a website request. Our staff works diligently to make sure your experience with us is more relaxing and unhurried but still provides quality time with Dr. Jayne. Most patients in our practice require blood samples be tested periodically to monitor their progress. We do everything we can to make the process quick and as close to painless as we can achieve. 

We make every attempt to answer our incoming calls with a human voice instead of the typical “press 1 for…” routine at most clinics. Routine refill requests of ongoing prescriptions generally are directed to the pharmacy if refills are remaining. If the refills have run out then our staff will ascertain if it is time for a new appointment and /or blood test monitoring required in order to renew the prescription(s). We schedule the blood draws in order to reduce your wait time as we recognize your time is very valuable. 

At David Jayne MD Medical Spa in Edmond OK we accept payment for our services when they are provided since we do not participate in, or bill commercial insurance or government plans like Medicaid, Medicaid or Tricare. We accept cash, credit or debit cards, Health Spending Account (HSA) debit cards, or checks. Unfortunately, we do NOT accept Flexible Spending Account (FSA) debit card payments.

There are 2 ways you can have an appointment with Dr. Jayne, either in the office face to face or via your phone or computer. The first appointment is in person but subsequent appointments may be completed via the virtual route if appropriate.

David Jayne MD at Medical Spa in Edmond, OK may refer you to a specialist if it is indicated. You would use your insurance normally for the specialist charges. Dr. Jayne will send a brief description of your issue as well as any pertinent lab or other testing we have obtained to the specialist. In most cases their office will contact you to schedule the appointment, but we can give you their office information to call them if you have not heard from them after a reasonable time. Dr. Jayne should receive a letter and office note with the specialist’s findings and recommendations after your visit.

Dr. Jayne is licensed to practice medicine in the State of Oklahoma and the State of Texas. Treating patients from other states is problematic at this point unless they also have a residence in Oklahoma where our office is located.

This is important as most health insurance carries very high deductibles which, if you have not met them in the current year, will be many times more expensive than if you pay cash at one of these facilities for your scan. The same is true for outpatient surgeries which many times have a packaged fee for everything that is sometimes less than your deductible. I will help you navigate the decision if you need these services to obtain the best care while limiting expenses.
